A Taste of Cuba Be sure to offer the standard Cuban greeting, "Que bola" and you'll meet and feel the friendly spirit of the Cuban people instantly! Here you can buy Cuban cigars, play dominoes in domino park with the old timers and hear stories about people's journeys from Cuba to the US all day and night long. It's really a Don't Miss Spot! Put this on your list to see and experience and if you happen to be in Miami on the last Friday of the month, be sure to hit Calle 8 for their Cultural Friday festival. It's the funnest place to be and the streets are filled with dancing bodies, happy faces and great music and food. |
Salsa Dancing & Nightlife
With a dense and strong Latino and Caribbean population, salsa is the favorite pastime of a good portion of the population in Miami. Our drivers can take you to some of the best salsa clubs in Miami, just ask them where the hot spots are or click here to learn about some of the best dances around where the top dancers will be practicing their moves into the wee hours. Many of the social dances offer free beginner classes so you can learn the basics and do some dancing yourself. Recommendations: Thursday nights check out Moca Cafe in North Miami, Friday nights hit up Legends Cafe in Hollywood, or head out to Puntintino's or Yuca Lounge on South Beach. Fantasy Festival
Of course, no trip to Miami is complete without a trip to Key West. Key West is at it's wildest for Fantasy Fest. Every October thousands of painted, feathered and ready to party people flow into the streets of Key West for a party like no other. If you love Burning Man, you'll dig Fantasy Fest, but Fantasy Fest started first and has it's own unique wild side that is unlike anything you'll find on the desert at Black Rock.
